Home and Away star undergoes emergency surgery to remove brain tumour

Home and Away fans will remember the lovable Chris Harrington, played by Johnny Ruffo, who only recently left the soap.

Sadly, the 29-year-old has just stunned followers with the revelation he had to have emergency surgery last week to remove a brain tumour.

Johnny took to Instagram to share gory images of his post-op scar.

The tumour was discovered last Sunday, when he was admitted to hospital with a migraine - before being rushed into surgery.

Johnny is still awaiting results to see if the tumour is benign or malignant.
