For Lindsay Lohan, it seems, dreams really do come true ...
After publicly pleading for Disney to cast her as Ariel in the live-action remake of the 1989 animated classic, The Little Mermaid, Paper Magazine has come to her rescue.
As part of the publication's digital Break the Internet cover, the former child star has been cast to pose as four iconic Disney princesses including, you guessed it, Ariel.
She also portrays Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty - all while looking totally unrecognisable!
Taking to Instagram to share the four different pictures, the 32-year-old actress wrote: "Thank you @papermagazine for such a fun shoot!"
It's been a troubling few years for The Parent Trap star, who's become more famous for her multiple arrests than she is for her acting.
After her movie career slumped, Lohan had many brushes with the law: She was twice convicted of drunken driving, once convicted for cocaine possession, charged with stealing a $2500 necklace from a jewellery store and arrested for allegedly clipping a man with her car in New York and then leaving the scene.
She also went to rehab multiple times, spent many days in jail, was ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring SCRAM ankle bracelet and made to attend weekly alcohol education classes.
Lohan now has her own reality MTV series, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, which follows the actress’ entrepreneurial efforts as she expands her brand into the business world with the launch of her Lohan Beach House club in Mykonos, Greece.
