A lot of famous people have died in 2016. The world has also seen the Brexit vote, and Donald Trump elected as President of the United States of America.

All of these events have made people sad – and as a result they have shared their grief on social media. But one man, called Matt Strange, has grown a little tired of it all.

Sure, some parts of the year have been tough, but there has also been a lot of good deeds, kindness, and positivity too.

So, here's why we need to stop with the 'OMG 2016 was terrible' comments...

So is everything is said all true?

While we can't confirm the validity of everything he says.

An ebola vaccine roll-out was announced, and China's giant pandas are no longer endangered.

Still, there's no doubt that plenty of joyful things happened this year, and Matt makes a good point in highlighting them.

"Yes, some famous f****** people you liked died, and you know what - more of them are gonna go too," he concludes.

"But take some time to look at the f****** good and beauty in this world, good s*** is happening, learn it, support it, be part of it."
