Disney Pixar has unveiled their brand new trailer for their next animated movie, and it’s giving us all the feels.
Soul may be one of the emotional movies the animation company has created, and it’s about death.
The flick will follow Joe - voiced by Jamie Foxx - a middle school band teacher who dreams of playing jazz music in a New York club.
"But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before – a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks, and interests before they go to Earth,” Disney reveals about the plot of the film.
He is joined by Tina Fey who plays the role of a precocious sole,22, who "has never understood the appeal of the human experience".
"As Joe desperately tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s most important questions."
The feature-length flick - directed by Academy Award winner Pete Docter, who worked on Up and Inside Out - was originally meant to be released in movie theatres, however, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Disney has decided to release Soul on its streaming service Disney+.
And unlike their release of Mulan earlier this year, Disney+ won't be charging viewers extra to screen Soul.
Soul is set to debut on December 25 - what a great Christmas present!
