Disney unveils first look at brand new live-action 'Pinocchio' movie starring Tom Hanks

Disney has unveiled the first sneak peek at their latest live-action recreation of one of their beloved animated movies.

The teaser trailer for Pinocchio dropped online this morning and it looks absolutely fantastic!

This new version of the classic tale about a wooden puppet who goes on an adventure to become a real boy stars the likes of Tom Hanks, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Cynthia Erivo, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco, and Luke Evans.

The first teaser clip shows stunning scenes from the movie, including Hanks at the woodcarver Geppetto making a wish while the notes of the iconic When You Wish Upon A Star song play in the background.

Academy Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis  - known for his work on Forrest Gump, Back To The Future, Cast Away, and more – takes the helm for the feature flick which is set to premiere on the Disney+ streaming service this September.
