Lady Gaga stuns fans with powerful new song 'Hold My Hand' for 'Top Gun: Maverick' soundtrack

Once again Gaga has blown us away!

The Grammy-winning pop star just dropped her brand new song Hold My Hand and we are already absolutely obsessed.

The 36-year-old super star’s 80s-inspired pop ballad is set to feature on the soundtrack for the brand new Top Gun: Maverick starting Tom Cruise – who will reprise his role as Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell from the original 1986 flick.

"Hold My Hand is a love letter to the world during and after a very hard time,” explains Gaga in a statement. "I've wanted you to hear it for so long."

Fans are already tipping the powerhouse track to be a possible nominee for Best Original Song Oscar at the Academy Awards in 2023.

A source said: "'Hold My Hand' is Gaga at her best ... I wouldn't be surprised if, come next year, Gaga has got herself another Best Original Song nod from the Academy."

In 2019, Gaga took home Best Original Song for her A Star Is Born track Shallow, which featured her co-star Bradley Cooper.
