Manchester United's new Adidas home shirt for the Premier League season has been met with outrage after being described as "sexist" and "discriminatory."

It's the Manchester club's first shirt made by German sportswear giant Adidas in a new 10-year deal worth 750 million pounds.

People were quick to point out the difference between the men's and women's version of the new kit, with the women's version featuring a very low neckline and a different white trimmed collar.

Adidas outbid Nike, who'd designed United's kits since 2002, and the new design was released on Saturday on the club's website.

The release of the kit featured the men's and women's design alongside each other that highlighted the differences between the two.
