A teenage boy with terminal cancer married his girlfriend on Friday, in a ceremony put on by his town!
Luke Blanock, 18, tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Natalie Britvich, and everything from the flowers to the rings was donated by the community.
According to Luke's GoFundMe page, the 18-year-old was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer in December of 2013 when he was 16. Since that time he has undergone 24 rounds of chemo, over 100 radiation treatments and two surgeries.
Taking to Instagram to thank everybody for their kind donations, his new wife posted the above photograph of the pair on the dance floor alongside the caption: "#LoveCameBlaKnocking and I couldn't be happier :) I can't thank everyone enough for the sweet posts and support. This was the best night of my life. WOO IM A BLANOCK!!! Guess this means I need to change my username..."
Wedding planner Ashley Cyprowski said: "I've never seen the [Blanock] family as happy as they were that day.
"Luke was so high energy, he was just glowing."
What a beautiful story - we wish them luck!Â
