Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has just given A Star Is Born fans the ultimate cover.

Closing out the Innings Festival in Arizona, Vedder performed a solo acoustic rendition of Jackson Maine's folksy balled 'Maybe It’s Time' - and it was perfection!

What makes the cover even more special is that Bradley Cooper revealed he modelled his character in popular film off of Vedder.

"I went up to Seattle and spent four or five days with him and I asked him 9,000 questions," Bradley said.

"He gave me minor, little things that only musicians know about: what to do, just aesthetically and the inner workings."

After learning of Vedder’s cover, Jason Isbell who penned the track tweeted: "Holy s*** Eddie Vedder sang my Bradley Cooper song in his set tonight. That is by far the strangest sentence I’ve ever composed but it’s certainly a huge honour. I was 12 when ‘Ten’ came out and by god I learned how to play every song on it."
