Remember when the Olympics were on and we built that big tower which looks like a slide? Well, now there are plans to turn it into just that.

The ArcelorMittal Orbit tower could be turned into a giant slide with five loops followed by an awesome 50-metre straight run to the ground.

The tower, designed by Sir Anish Kapoor, stands at 114.5 metres (taller than the Statue of Liberty) and will make a hell of a slide if the designs get approved.

We are committed to ensuring our visitors have the best possible day out every time they visit Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and as with all our venues we are constantly exploring ways to ensure we are leading the way with the latest visitor experience. The addition of a slide would be an exciting and alternative way to descend from the viewing platforms, and will give a different perspective of Britain’s tallest sculpture.London Legacy Development Corporation spokesperson
