This 6-year-old boy with autism has an incredible talent that will blow you away

A six-year-old boy with autism delighted This Morning viewers when he breezed through a fiendishly tricky geography quiz on live television.

Jayden Binkley wowed presenters, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, when he easily identified five obscure nations, including Benin, Comoros and Vanuatu, by their flags before reeling off their capital cities.

The schoolboy, from Arnold in Nottingham, finished off by listing all the countries beginning with the letters 'H' and 'P' without missing a beat.

Viewers quickly took to Twitter to share their support for the "amazing" little boy, with one writing: "What an intelligent boy on This Morning. Our children with autism have so much potential when allowed to focus on their interests."

Another posted: "The little boy on This Morning is fantastic! I now feel a little bit uneducated."

Jayden became an online global star after he was filmed reciting all 196 countries of the world in alphabetical order. He learned the list in just three months after he was given an atlas by his parents, Lynn and Richard.  

Jayden, who was diagnosed with autism aged three, has also learnt the entire Highway Code, the number of every TV channel and all his teachers' number plates.

He also knows all of the capital cities and can match up all of the world's flags to their respective nations.

Speaking on This Morning, Lynn, 38, explained how she and her husband noticed Jayden's developmental problems when he was a toddler. 

She said: "He was saying single words, and pointing and not really stringing any sentences together."

It was when he started nursery that he was diagnosed with autism.

Speaking yesterday, Lynn said: "What Jayden has achieved is amazing. When he was first born, we had no idea that he had such a severe condition.

"But within a week of starting school his teachers" picked up on it. 

"He didn't speak until he was three. When he started nursery he couldn't string a sentence together, now his vocabulary is amazing.

"He was three-and-a-half years old, and couldn't talk properly, but, bizarrely, could remember whole songs and recite them with ease.

"Although he always performs at school, he struggles with everyday things - like getting dressed and eating.

"He suffers from intense anxiety, and can't go outside if a baby is crying or if a bus is driving past, because he can't stand the noises. But he has this amazing gift for memory."
