Ellen DeGeneres made her own A Star Is Born trailer and it will put a smile on your face

It seems like Ellen DeGeneres is so excited for A Star Is Born that she wants her own role in the movie.

The Ellen Show host inserted herself into the trailer for the highly anticipated film in the best way ever.

Seriously, it is pure gold.

It seems the actual star of the movie enjoyed Ellen's new clip, Tweeting, "Ellen made her own version of A Star Is Born trailer," alongside a laugh-crying face emoji. 

The 60-year-old also invited Gaga onto her show, where she went into about how playing the character had a powerful effect on her.

Lady Gaga also took part in a speed round answering some burning questions like who her celebrity crush is.

Over the weekend she and her co-star Bradley Cooper – who also directed the film - caused a stir after releasing a stunning duet from the film called Shallow. Since its release, the song has had more than 9 million views.
