Julia Stiles welcomes first child

The '10 Things I Hate About You' star and her husband Preston J. Cook welcomed their first baby into the world last month.

Sharing a beautiful photo of the little one's tiny hand, Julia wrote: "Strummer Newcomb Cook, born October 20, 2017. Thanks and ever thanks to the extraordinary Doctors, Nurses and staff at Mount Sinai for helping bring this utter joy into our lives."

Julia and Preston - who got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2015 - announced her pregnancy earlier this year.

The pair met in 2015 on the set of 'Go With Me', where Preston was working as a cameraman.
