Katie Holmes shares rare photo of Suri looking so grown up

She's too big for her devoted mum to carry around now.

But Katie Holmes's 10-year-old daughter Suri Cruise seemed quite happy riding on the shoulders of one of the actress's guy pals in an Instagram, the Daily Mail reports.

The image was taken from a high vantage point after dark and showed the lights of Los Angeles glowing in the background.

Suri smiled happily from her elevated viewing spot along with the young man who was carrying her and another guy pal who stood next to them.

The 38-year-old celebrity captioned the snap: "Love these sweethearts who inspire me with all of their accomplishments and beautiful hearts and for bringing so much light to all of our lives!"

Katie's darling mini-me is the daughter of Tom Cruise.

The former Dawson's Creek star and the 54-year-old action hero were married for five years before divorcing in 2012 and he now rarely sees his little girl.

Even though she's a busy single parent, Katie makes sure she spends plenty of time with Suri.
