Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are actually related

He is a prince raised in London, she is an actress born in California.

But apparently Prince Harry and girlfriend Meghan Markle are actually long lost cousins.

An investigation into their lineage by the Daily Mail found they are distantly related thanks to a 15th century ancestor of the Queen Mother.

Before everyone starts freaking out, we'd just like to point out that if you go far back enough through time, you're also probably related to your partner.

A genetic survey in 2013 found that all Europeans living today are related to the same set of ancestors who lived 1,000 years ago.
