Our favourite pop star Pink turned 39 over the weekend and how she spent her special day looks absolutely amazing.

Not only did hitmaker get the party started by performing live in Auckland’s Spark arena – where a packed out crowd sang her Happy Birthday and she blew out the candles on a giant birthday cake in the middle of the stage - but kept the party going, hitting up The Jefferson, a popular whiskey bar with her husband Carey Hart.

"So … about last night … this girl came in saying it was her birthday but would not tell me her name," owner Ofir Yudilevich joked on Facebook alongside a photo of him and the Beautiful Trauma birthday girl.

Pink also celebrated with her family in their Auckland hotel room – where Willow had collected A LOT of balloons for her mum.

"I have the balloons to prove it d***!!!!!! Although that says I’m 93 I think. Thanks for all the birthday love everyone (except Carey),” Pink wrote on her Instagram, joking after Carey had earlier insisted that Pink had actually turned 40.

In his loving birthday post for his wife, Carey wrote on Instagram:

"Happy birthday to my amazing wife Pink!!!! We have been together almost 17 years, and it has been a true blessing to watch you grow from a crazy lil girl to a strong woman."

"Through all of our ups and downs, you have always been a loving and consistent person. I’m so proud of the woman, mother, performer, and partner you have become. And like I've said before baby, you are like a fine wine!!!! You just get better with age. I love you, happy 40th."

Pink capped the weekend off by enjoying a "spicy birthday brew" sending out "thanks for the shenanigans that made this drink necessary."
