Coldplay just dropped their brand new song 'My Universe' featuring BTS and we absolutley love it

Coldplay just dropped their brand new song with BTS and we are already completely in love with it!

The British pop-rockers joined forces with the South Korean mega-group for the single My Universe which was accompanied by a lyric video (watch above).

"You, you are, my universe and I just want to put you first," frontman Chris Martin sings along with the seven members of BTS, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, in the chorus of the uplifting track.

The release of the new song comes after the two groups met up in New York City this week, following BTS’ performance and address to the United Nations as presidential special envoys for South Korea.

It is believed the idol band gifted the Yellow stars modernised hanbok - a traditional Korean garment - to mark the occasion. 

However, this isn’t the first time the two groups have met, with Chris travelling to South Korea to record the song with the Dynamite hitmakers in person.

Following the release of the My Universe lyric video, there will also be a documentary detailing the making of the song, an acoustic and remixed version of the song, as well as an official music video.

My Universe is set to feature on Coldplay's upcoming ninth studio album Music of the Spheres, which is due to drop this October.
