We've probably all looked into the fridge and wondered if it's OK to eat that old pizza...
So,Refinery 29 reached out to food safety expert Marianne Gravely at the USDA, finding out the spoilage ranges for some of favourite leftover options.
With whatever leftovers you've got, you need to ensure that you watch out for mold, smells, and slimy textures.
Cooked food will usually be safe for three to four days in the fridge, but this varies for seafood.Â
The photos above provide a rough guide on how long certain items should be safe to eat (in days), but in saying that if something looks or smells bad, don't eat it!
