Brad & Laura take a guess at the ‘very large sum’ Prince William got in phone hack settlement

In a shocking twist, court documents from Prince Harry's lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch's media empire have unveiled that Prince William quietly received a jaw-dropping sum of money in a 2020 settlement for phone hacking.

Harry's lawyer dropped the bombshell to counter arguments by News Group Newspapers, owned by Murdoch, who claimed that both Harry and actor Hugh Grant's phone hacking lawsuits were filed too late.

However, Harry alleges that a secret agreement between the royal family and the newspapers barred him from taking legal action. The audacious Duke of Sussex, after pushing for resolution since 2017, had finally had enough and filed his lawsuit in 2019.

But, there's more! It turns out Prince William himself was entangled in this scandal. Although the exact amount remains undisclosed, insiders confirm that the Prince of Wales settled for a substantial sum of money. Talk about a royal cash splash!

Laura took a guess that it could be somewhere around the 500 million mark - but who knows?!

Attorney David Sherborne, representing Harry, clarified that the prince wasn't using the scandal as a weapon but rather as a "shield" against News Group Newspapers' attacks. It seems Harry is determined to bring these media moguls to justice, with this lawsuit being just one of several he has unleashed upon the British tabloids.
