Another 'Home and Away' star has just landed their first big Hollywood break!

Pia Miller, who was known for playing Summer Bay's resident policewoman Katarina 'Kat' Chapman, will appear in the upcoming live-action film of Nickelodeon's 'Dora the Explorer'.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the 35-year-old actress will be playing Dora's aunt Mami in the movie alongside Eva Longoria, who is playing Dora's mother.

For those not familiar with the cartoon, Mami is the mother of Dora's cousin and sidekick, Diego.

"[I] can confirm Pia Miller as Diego's mother in the film," a production spokesman said about the movie, which has already finished filming on the Gold Coast.

The role will come as a shock to fans, as Miller - who is mum to two boys, Isaiah, 16, and Lennox, 12 - said she wasn't leaving the Aussie soap to pursue a career in Hollywood.

"I take it day by day and I audition for things when they come up."

"I don't have my sights set on Hollywood, which is always publicised about me. It's not the case," she said at the time.
