The first trailer for the brand new 'Matrix' sequel is out and it will blow your mind

In 1999 the original Matrix movie came out and blew everyone’s minds!

Well now more than 20 years on the very first trailer for the fourth Matrix movie, The Matrix Resurrections has been unveiled and … WOW!

The plot for the upcoming sequel has been kept tightly under wraps until now and had many Matrix fans guessing on what might happen - especially considering lead characters Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Neo (Keanu Reeves) died at the end of the third movie.

But both stars have returned for the new movie - and we can’t wait to see how far down the rabbit hole we will go.

The new movie also stars the likes of Jada Pinkett Smith and Lambert Wilson rejoin Lana Wachowski (who directs solo here) for the fourth instalment of the blockbuster sci-fi action series, with Neil Patrick Harris and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
