We have some good news for coffee lovers!

Are you ready for it?

Apparently people who drink three to four cups of coffee a day are more likely to see health benefits than harm.

Yep, they’re less likely to get liver disease, diabetes, dementia and several cancers.

The research, which analysed data from 200 previous studies, showed that coffee drinkers were also found to experience lower risks of premature death and heart disease.

Three or four cups a day present the greatest benefit, except for women who are pregnant or who have a higher risk of suffering fractures.

"Coffee drinking appears safe within usual patterns of consumption," said lead researcher Robin Poole, a public health specialist at Britain's University of Southampton.
