Deborah's Panatone French Toast 

Our favorite Christmas morning breakfast is Panatone French toast made with Westgold Butter.

We use store-bought panatone, dip it in egg, cinnamon, nutmeg and cream and fry it in Westgold Butter.

I love making it with my mum and sister. It is the best special breakfast ever

 

Gemma's Bailey Cookies

Cream
225g Westgold Butter
1 cup of sugar
1 dessert spoon of coffee + chicory essence and vanilla essence.

Add 2 cups of sifted flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder. Chop up baileys chocolates and add to mix. Roll into balls and flatten. Bake for 15 mins on 150 degrees Celsius.  

 

Blinda's Oma's Christmas Shortbread

Beat 125gm Westgold Butter and 65gm icing sugar until creamy.
Mix in 150gm flour and 60gm cornflower into a dough.
Knead, cut into rectangles, prick with a fork.
Bake for 15mins at 180 degrees.
Buttery and delicious !! Reminds me of Oma and Xmas everytime!

 

Emily's Cranberry and Orange Shortbread

Based on my grandmothers traditional recipe.

225 g Westgold Butter, 1/2 c icing sugar, pinch of salt , 3/4 c cornflour, 1 3/4 c flour , dash of vanilla or almond essence. 1/2 c chopped cranberry’s , 1 tbsp finely grated orange zest .

Cream butter icing sugar and salt. Add cornflour and beat again.
Add 1 cup flour and cranberry orange and essence and mix again.
Put mixture onto bench and knead in the rest of the flour. Shape into a log and cut out circles.
Put onto baking sheet and bake at 160 degrees Celsius for 20 mins.
