Kiwi celebrity chef Nadia Lim has given birth to her second bundle of joy.

Taking to Instagram the entrepreneur shared a beautiful photo of her holding her newborn son, River and we can tell he’s already an absolute cutie!

"Whose tiny hand is that poking out? Introducing … River!" Nadia wrote alongside the intimate snap.

The My Food Bad co-founder also revealed in the post that her baby boy arrived early and that she had a "somewhat impromptu" home birth with her husband Carlos Bagrie there to help save the carpet.

"Born a week early on Monday evening in a somewhat impromptu, but wonderful, home birth (all I can say is thank goodness for Carlos’ backpack liner or the carpet would have been a write-off!😂)."

"8 pounds 6 ounces of happy (and very hungry) bonny boy," she continued, "We are feeling so incredibly blessed and loving being a family of four!"

This is the second child for Nadia and Carlos, who welcomed their eldest son Bodhi in 2012.

Last month Nadia shared some stunning photos of her in Fiji, while on a 'baby-moon'.

"Didn’t realise it was whale season in Fiji," she joked at the time, referring to her large baby bump.

Congratulations Nadia! We’re sure you will love being a mum of two.
